Market Confusion

Many subscription box have monthly cut-off date, set billing date and set despatch date. With so much going on in life, who needs to remember when to pay and when to expect to receive your monthly snack boxes?

Time For Curation
While there is a claim for a "curation period", what many subscription box companies doesn't tell you if the reality of this period is really for inventory management. They won't take the risk to stock up and need time to meet orders.

Subscription Plans & Boxes

TastyPanda offers monthly subscription plans and a small range of individual branded items to support the themes of our snack boxes.

Our boxes are curated to suit a wide variety of tastes and preferences, varying from month to month to keep new experiences exciting. Our subscription options can be found here.

Depending on the type of box you select the options will vary. Contents of the boxes will vary from month to month and we are always reviewing the Asian brands we select and working with to curate the best experience possible.

Our goal is to always provide you with something iconic, tasty, unique and moreish!

Our boxes are specially curated and always full of surprises. We use our local tasting research, members community and customer feedback to help decide on some of the products that go into our subscription boxes.

From time to time we do re-stock some of our most popular products but the majority of the products will change on a month-by-month basis.

Going further with a community orientated approach, we run a monthly ballot for our members to vote on their favourite snack to stay or go and test new items curated in our TastyPanda snack vault with our unique Virtual Tasting Sessions.

In short, we don't rely have having seasonable boxes to keep each month exciting and aim to provide new suprises for the next month.

All products may contain traces of nuts and other allergens. Our products are not suitable for nut, peanut, milk, sesame, wheat, and egg allergy sufferers. 

Allergens given are indicative only, given that we work with such a large number of independent Asian suppliers we can't guarantee that their products will be suitable, therefore our products are not suitable for those with severe allergies.

Additionally, some products will contain e-numbers and we cannot distinguish vegetarian, gluten-free or halal snacks.

There is no minimum subscription time. You can set your account to be skip, paused or cancelled at any time in MEMBERS ACCOUNT.

Make sure you cancel at least 48 hours before the 1st of the next month, if you don't wish to be charged for the next month's box.

You can skip your subscriptions anytime in MEMBERS ACCOUNT.

Please keep in mind to make sure you cancel at least 48 hours before the 1st of the month or opt to to skip instead and you will not be charged for that month.

Many Asian countries write their snack expiry dates in a different format order, which is as follows: 

YEAR/MONTH/DAY. 

If you are worried that your snacks may have expired please send us a clear photo of the snack’s expiration date to hello@tastypanda.co.uk

In addtion, we also follow U.K. labelling laws, meaning all snakcs will have english labelling, which will state the "Best Before Date".

Payments & Orders

We currently only accept payment in Pounds Sterling (GBP) though you are welcome to pay with a non-UK credit or debit card. The amount will be charged in your local currency, adjusted for your card issuer’s exchange rate and fee if applicable.

Our team will make every effort we can to either cancel or change an address to your order ahead of its fulfilment at our warehouse. However, if your order is in the process of being fulfilled, we are unfortunately unable to stop your order or make any changes to the items included.

You still have the option available to return your order to us within 30 days of delivery.

As soon as you have completed your order you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. If for any reason you are not sure if your order was successful, please contact us. You can find all of our contact details on our contact us page.

NO! We know that in this day and age, setting up countless website accounts with another new password is a bit of a hassle and we guess that is why the Password Managers browser extension exists.

All we need during your checkout is an email address, so we can let you know the order is placed and when it is despatched along with providing you tracking information.

Having said this, the advantage of setting up an account is to store your addresses and order history, especially useful for multiple subscriptions and single-item purchases.

There are 2 ways you can set up an account:

1. Click on the little man icon on the top right corner of the website

2. After clicking [CHECK OUT], on the [Information] page, click the "Log in" text, positioned after "Already have an account? ", next to the [Contact information] heading, above the box where you enter your email address.

On the [Login] page, click on "Create account" text below the [SIGN IN] button.

Please note: The MEMBERS ACCOUNT on the top menu of the website is there to managed an existing subscription ONLY

Delivery & Returns

Absolutely! We no longer include the invoice in our parcels, but a downloadable copy can be found at the bottom of your order confirmation. 

United Kingdom, Guernsey and Jersey

Our standard delivery option is £4.50delivering to the UK, Guernsey and Jersey, using our standard delivery service via Evri Standard(2-3 Days) with Tracking, Deliveries should take 2 – 3 working days from dispatch. 

Specifically for our TastyPanda MEGASHARE Snack Box, we provide FREE shipping using Evri Standard (2 - 3 Days)  

We also provide upgraded shipping:

  1. Evri Express (1 - 2 Days): £5.50
  2. DPD (Next Working Day): £6.50

Mainland Europe

Our standard delivery option to Europe is via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed

For the countries below, the standard delivery option cost £13.50 and should deliver within 5 – 7 working days from dispatch, this covers the following countries:

Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Portugal, Åland Islands, Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Finland, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

For other areas of Europe, the standard delivery option is £16.00 and should deliver in 5 - 7 working days from dispatch, this covers the remaining countries:

Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey,Vatican City

Delivery details on this page are kept up to date. Website stock information is live, and stock is reserved for you once you place your order.

Rest of World

We do not currently ship to any countries outside of the ones listed above. We do plan to add more counties down the road, stay tuned!

Despatch Cut Off

We aim to despatch on the same day for all orders before the 12pm cut-off time.

All orders received after 12pm will be despatched the next day. Should there be any issues you will be notified by email (please check your spam folder).

As soon as your order has been shipped, we will send you an e-mail to let you know. The e-mail will show a final summary of the items in your order, the delivery address and the shipping method. 

Once your order has been collected by one of our couriers, you should receive an e-mail from them with your tracking details.

If you have not received your tracking details or have any other concerns, please send us an e-mail – our staff will be able to help. You can find all of our contact details on our contact us page.

We currently use Royal Mail for UK, Guernsey and Jersey to deliver all of our snack boxes.

With Royal Mail suspending all international delivery (Jan 2023), we will be using Evri for European Countries’ delivery. There will be 2 different rates depending on the country in Europe.

Unfortunately, this also means some of the European countries normally covered by Royal Mail will not be included in our current shipping as the cost for Evri is at an unreasonably high price almost to the price of the subscription box.

We will use Royal Mail for international delivery once it resumes its international
European services. We will keep you updated in our newsletter.

At Tasty Panda we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we understand you may want to return items.

If you change your mind you are welcome to return your purchase in its original condition within 30 days for a refund. If you are returning part of a larger order, we regret that we cannot refund delivery costs. Please see below for more details.

Custom & Import Fees

You don't need to pay customs fees if you are based in the United Kingdom.

For all other countries outside of the U.K., you may face customs charges issued by your local customs authority.

GOOD NEWS: Most countries will have a limit on their cost of goods before customs fees are chargeable. For example, in Germany, it is €45 euros and importing into the U.K., it is £135 or less and does not contain alcohol or tobacco.

Please check with your local custom authority.

Goods - such as the TastyPanda Snacks or TastyPanda Keep Fresh Clips you buy - can't simply be shipped freely from country to country.

When goods are imported into a different country or customs territory, there is a charge called 'Customs Duty' that is charged by the local customs authority where the goods are being imported into.

If Customs Duty is required by your territory, you'll be responsible for paying it to the authorities. Whether Customs Duty is payable, and by how much, depends on your country's specific regulations.

If you do have to pay Customs Duty though, the amount payable is usually calculated based on the value of the goods and the type of goods being imported. AND IF I DON'T PAY THE CUSTOMS DUTY? 

If you decide to refuse the customs fees, we must confirm with the courier that your parcel will be returned back to TastyPanda before processing a refund for your order and in some instances, a shipping and handling fee may be deducted from your refund.

If you're still unsure about whether you'll be subject to customs fees, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing your order.

Sales Tax, also known as VAT or GST, is a tax charged on the supply of goods or services. TastyPanda is a new business, we currently are not registered for sales tax and so do not charge you the Sales Tax as part of the checkout process.
